‘Let Your Light Shine’ has been the motto of the OLPS school which has been truly followed and practiced in all spheres of our students daily life on account of our committed and dedicated staff who not only strive for academic excellence but a holistic development of the child through value based education. Here at OLPS we are seriously striving to follow our calling to bring forth from this institution Good Citizens of our Country and more so Good Human Beings.
Besides the intellectual quotient, today a greater stress is placed on developing the emotional quotient of a student. At OLPS we too have devoted and enthusiastic counsellors who journey with our lads to make them emotionally strong and balanced.
There is a common proverb that says, all study and no play makes Jack a dull boy. At OLPS, the students are guided to be physically fit and also trained to shine in various sports and sporting events. Thanks to our P.E staff and coaches, over the years, our boys have been faring very well in Football and Cricket.
Our Alumni association at OLPS is also very vibrant. The school is blessed to receive so much on account of their generosity. One of such batches is helping our weaker students reach their true potential through the program, ‘Mentoring Champs’. To build in our boys a sense of love and care for creation, the school has a terrace garden with vegetables, medicinal plants and fruit bearing plants. A great Green Initiative.
It is indeed a great honor for me to be appointed as Manager of this prestigious school. I’m greatly indebted to my predecessors and the staff who have worked selflessly to bring the school up to where it stands now. I hope and pray that with the cooperation of the staff, students, parents and well-wishers the school flag will continue to fly high. Let us together make Learning an Enjoyable Experience.
